Avant-Garde Design With A New Face
The All-New DS 3 Cabrio is the automotive embodiment of Parisian chic – with a sculpted shape, distinctive “shark’s fin” side pillar and stunning lighting design. Unashamedly modern, it remains true to DS’s inimitable spirit of avant-garde. It also sports the DS front end, “DS Wings”, sculpted like a work of art with a vertically-oriented grille in a hexagonal shape proudly bearing the DS emblem. Surrounded in chrome to underscore its elegance, the grille extends towards the LED headlamps and fog lamps via two chromed-finished wings, creating an even more jewel-like presence, worthy of French luxury craftsmanship.
Unrivalled Light Quality with DS LED Vision Headlamps
The All-New DS 3 Cabrio has always posited a beautiful take on the avant-garde and was the first DS to feature the highly expressive “DS LED Vision” light signature, a lighting technology pioneered by DS, it features a combination of LED and Xenon modules to produce a deep, white beam that reduces eye strain at night while using less energy. The combination of LED and Xenon technology generates a powerful, broad and harmonious light flow for extra visibility and comfort in night driving. It also reduces the energy consumption of dipped beams by 50% and high beams by
67%. The overall result is more visibility and comfort, especially at night, together with reduced energy consumption.
Technology At Your Fingertips – An Even More Connected Car
The All-New DS 3 Cabrio offers drivers a smarter, safer and more fun way of enjoying all the personalised features of their smartphones, via Apple CarPlay™ or MirrorLink® from a centrally mounted 7-inch touchscreen interface. This allows easier access to navigation, music and phone apps on the Android platform.
The DS driving experience is more functional than ever with its 7-inch colour touchscreen. The latest-generation screen provides simpler access to all the vehicle functions, allowing you to adjust the audio systems, cruise control or speed limiter without taking your hands off the wheel.
From Dynamism To Comfort
The All-New DS 3 Cabrio offers both dynamism and comfort (it is the only Cabrio of the segment with 5 seats) when out on the road. It can be transformed into a convertible in 16 seconds with a push of a button. The top can be
opened and closed at speeds of up to 110 km/h and the car boasts best-in-class acoustic comfort thanks to its high-quality canvas roof (multilayer canvas composed of composite materials with an inner layer of acrylic for extra soundproofing) and an aerodynamic wind deflector that pops up as soon as the roof starts to open, guaranteeing a
comfortable in-car experience that is breezy but never blustery.
Day-to-day comfort is also delivered by a capacious boot, with the largest load volume in its segment at 245 litres for the All-New DS 3 Cabrio.
Safety Features
The All-New DS 3 Cabrio comes standard with an array of safety features, including front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, Hill-Start Assist, ABS (Anti-lock Brakes), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), EBA (Emergency Brake Assist) and ESP (Electronic Stability Programme).
Increasingly Efficient Engines
The All-New DS 3 Cabrio comes with the efficient 1.2 Turbo PureTech engine that is winner of the International Engine Of The Year 2016. This engine delivers 25% lower fuel consumption and emissions compared to a 4-cylinder engine. Combined with the latest generation 6-speed full automatic gearbox, enjoy a combination of lively handling and ride comfort. It is also Euro 6 compliant.
